General information & location
The Hotel Du Nord is rich in tradition. Located in the heart of Interlaken, directly on the world famous Höhematte, the hotel has 55 rooms & junior suites.
The Interlaken Ost train station (starting point for your excursions throughout the Jungfrau Region), the Congress Centre, numerous restaurants, bars, boutiques, shops, and a supermarket are all within easy walking distance.
Breakfast
We serve a rich breakfast featuring a large variety of regional specialties in our breakfast room on the ground floor from 07.00 until 10.00h.
If you plan to depart before 7.00am, please let us know until 10pm the night before and we will gladly prepare a boxed breakfast at no extra cost.
Check-in / Check-out
Your room/s is/are available from 3:00pm on your day of arrival and until 11:00am on your day of departure.
Bar
The new hotel bar is open daily from 14.00 - 23.00h. The hotel bar is closed from 31.08. to 10.09.2024. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Pets
Pets are not allowed.
Smoking
Out of respect for our guests, smoking is not permitted in the rooms or on the balconies. A smoking lounge on the ground floor and an area on the terrace are available for this purpose.
Parking
The hotel has a limited number of on-site parking spaces. Public parking is available nearby for a fee. Parking tickets can be purchased in advance or directly on site on the website of the municipality of Interlaken.
Arriving by train
If you plan to arrive by train, make sure to buy your ticket to the Interlaken Ost station, from where the Hotel Du Nord is just a few minutes away by foot.
Taxis are available in front of the station.
